  • Liverpool John Lennon Airport PCN

In March 2020, I collected my son from Liverpool airport. I was unsure of where I was going and pulled up alondside the pavement just past the entrance to a car park.
I was stationary for approx 20 seconds, then drove off.
I received a Parking Charge Notice in the post a few weeks later.
After reading several forums i decided to ignore the PCN, as the advice given was that it wasn t lawful to give out fines in this situation.
I heard nothing more until the 21.9.2021, when a Letter Before Claim arrived, issued by ELMS Legal stating that the outstanding balance of £160 should be paid by 23.9.2021, the day before the letter was typed and if no payment was received, legal proceedings would commence.
Please tell me what I should do

    Many thanks

Do you have the original PCN? If so post it up here with all the personal details redacted. There are members who specialize in this area who will help and I will try - what do they say you have done wrong?

I don t have the original PCN.
The allegation on the Letter Before Claim is in respect of a PCN, for breaching the Terms and conditions situated at Liverpool JL airport

SAR to the parking company. Who is it

Letter to Elms requesting copies of all documents that they intend to use in court as required by preaction protocols, within 7 days,

Another letter to Elms towards the end of the 30 days requesting another 30 days while you seek debt advice

Ignore has not been the advice for nearly 10 years.

                    Hi
I m at the end of the 30 days after replying to a letter before claim. I was advised to write again requesting another 30 days while I seek debt advice.
is this still the correct action to take?
                    cheers
