  • Met Parking Services

Hi everyone, can anyone help, I parked up at McDonalds, The Broadway, Southall last week on a sunday evening, purchased some food and kept the receipt. I have recieved a fine from Met Parking Services today saying I over stayed my allowed parking time of 60 minutes, exceeding it by 44 minutes. To be honest I was not really awarw that there was a time limit. They have offered me to pay the fine which is £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 thereafter. I have seen some old threads but cannot access some letters a few people have posted, getting the fine waived.
Would appreciate if someone could help.

So you didn't read the sticky about parking then?

So edit so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. The driver drove, the keeper received the Parking Charge Notice.

    It's not a fine, it's an invoice.

Post up the redacted PCN but leave the dates

Has the driver been back to McD's to complain?

Yes unfortunately when you have screaming kids in the car wanting food I didnt pay much attention to the notice, did look but not in detail, I should have. Yes, i’ve spoken to the Manager earlier today and he said there is a 60 minute stay only. I will have to pay the pcn he said. I’ve attached the pc (invoice), wasn’t quite sure if u wanted me to blank out the dates or not, first time using a forum

Looks like they got the NTK correct according to POFA. Your hope is the signs are not clearly in view or McD will cancel. Talk to the manager.

It's usually better to go in person

And take the opportunity to photo the signs and positions
