My mother and I have a personal injury attorney due to injuries she sustained in an auto accident we were in. The police report stated no hazardous action for me, the driver of our vehicle, but the other driver the officer stated his hazardous action was improper lane use. My feeling this is incorrect as he wasn't using any lane, he was crossing lanes. The police report should say failure to yield right of way. Does any of this matter to our case?
I'm seeking a second opinion and experience in this matter in which our lawyer is 100% certain that police reports do not matter.
We live in Michigan and the accident was in Michigan.
