  • Voluntary Termination

Hi, I returned my car in May of this year using voluntary termination. I had paid over 50% and the car was in excellent condition. The contract was with MotoNova Finance. I received a letter from them stating I no longer owed them any money and I was relieved that the whole process went through so smoothly. However, I have now received a letter stating that I owe them £323.84 and it is with a recovery agency. They do not really state what this is for. I received a statement of the account today which states that there is a repossession fee of £234.00. This was then written off 4th June as it was transferred to recoveries and the cost is now £323.84. Can any one advise me what my next steps are please. Thanks.

    Hi E ROO

Only communicate with them in writing (email is best), give a brief summary with dates, explain that the matter has been concluded, inform them that they were the ones who have told you that in writing, you are happy to provide them with a copy of their letter.
