  • Family member stripped of home ownership

    Hello,

I got into a really messy situation and to put it down in one sentence is
"Family court & other party solicitor contacted Land Registry, Form LL Restriction has been set on a property and changed proprietor to the claimant without notifying my parent and me, who were the previous owners"
It is really tough to not unravel the whole mystery which happened before. My parent had a tough legal battle and family court decision was to sell the property and split the money between two parties"

Whats really suprising is how things went surreptitiously and smoothly.
There wasnt any letter from them about whats going to happen

I payed up the house, but It wasn't joint mortgage.

Certainly I plan to get some legal advice on this matter in the end.

What can I do in this situation?

    Thanks for help!
