perhaps you may provide some insight on what Mortimer Clarke are up to.
here goes;
aug 2014 CCJ issued on behalf of welcome finance by Mortimer clarke
aug 2014 to jan 2021 payment plan in place and 98% adhered to
aug 2020 CCJ is no longer enforceable without court permission - balance left £2000
feb 2021 payment missed as moving account to stepchange but Mortimer Clarke finally respond in may
Turns out Mortimer Clarke have apples for an attachment of earnings to get rest of cash on 19/02/2021 (or so they say). Anyway the address they had on file was wrong so I spent a day chasing this to get the documents delivered to me.
1st contact Mortimer Clarke provided turn out to be the may of London’s office.
2nd time got through to courts but could not verify.
3rd I got through and they cannot find any record of attachment of earnings
i then called MC again and they are looking for the reference number.
now surely the reference would be the CCJ they are trying to put the AOE on?
can they get an AOE from a CCJ over 6 years old that had regular payments for over 6 years?
they keep referring to enforcing the CCJ too….. that is inaccurate now?
