  • PCN

Hi, I got a PCN after leaving my electric car too long at supermarket (I was using their charger and it took ages). I had not seen the signs. My fault. However, when I got the ticket a month later, it was already out of the 14 day window for rapid payment (which I was prepared to do).
Unfortunately, my partner paid for me using my credit card (I was very upset about whole thing so he did that so I could forget about it - but of course pay the bill) so he ended up paying the full £70 as that was the only option online. I wrote to appeal about not getting the PNC within the 14 day window but they just basically said thanks for paying in full - we accept it. No info about how to appeal to POPLA.
I think they should have refunded to over payment. Of course, the PCN envelop was not date stamped. I accept I probably wont get any refund but feel I should lodge what they have done - once money making scam to send letters too late to make the early charge. Thoughts please.

Once you have paid then that's the end of the matter s far as the PPC is concerned. No appeal allowed.
