about a month ago I was caught shoplifting for 145 pounds in mns. They took all my details down and my photo and recovered all the goods in resealable condition. The police never turned up and I was let go. I have been ignoring the DWF fine letters like the threads have said but I am getting very increasingly anxious. Will they take me to court or involve the police as it was a larger amount ? Will this show up on dbs and advanced background checks and affect my career and further studies ? What should I do now. Should I keep ignoring the letters ? Please help. I was going through a very difficult time and will never repeat my mistake.
