  • Concrete gutter removal, semi detached (neighbours)

Hi, our neighbors are having their concrete gutters removed and I’m wondering if the contractors they are using have to acknowledge and work with the fact that our gutter runs into theirs and then down the down pipe.

Are they legally obligated to make sure my gutter is still functional.

We have booked a different company to come and remove ours in a couple of months but don’t want my gutter to not be able to run away for that long.

    Can anyone advise?

Would it not be sensible, especially from a cost point of view, to get the same company to do all the work?

That was my first thought. No hassle possibility for one company to blame other if any problems. Have you talked with your neighbour ?
