Hi All
I got divorced from my ex 3 years ago. This all went smoothly but the financial settlement has never been sorted.
At the time I agreed to leave the house to her because it was the kids home and there was a tiny bit of equity in it. She also wanted my full pension, I agreed to half put into trust for the kids. All this was just email conversation and nothing was really agreed.
Now I am wanting it all sorted and to come off the mortgage, but I believe the house now has £50,000 worth of equity in it and have requested another valuation. I am still happy for her to keep the house, however there are 2 charging orders relating to 2 debts in my name from 2010.
According to the most up to date land registry, these are down as interim orders but my ex claims to know that they are full orders.
Am I right in thinking that if they are still interim, the 2 claimants just need to be informed of the transfer of the property to her and the orders will drop off and they would need to go back to court for full orders against me?
Also would the land registry normally be updated to show full orders as I don't believe what she is telling me?
Many thanks
