  • No trespass order issued by m+s

Am 73 and was issued the above for allegedly stealing a 70p mango. I had been in the stores two days before and that was the day they say I ran of with the mango. Am waiting for a spine op and run is now a word you can associate with me.
The no trespass order was given to me when I next came to the store two days later. I have seen their photos and now asked for cctv footage which was requested by my legal bods. I am incurring legal fees as I DID NOT TAKE ANYTHING. I have 15 c/c receipts showing my visits to the store over the previous 3 months, some as low as 70p!!!

Why am I incurring legal costs? No problems for me never to return but I did not take anything so to the courts we will go.

I assume you have been issued with an exclusion order? Unfortunately there is nothing the courts can do, because just as you have the right to exclude someone from your house, they can exclude anyone they like from their property. They have not involved the police or actually accused you of theft so there is little you can do to fight it.
