Hi Everyone
I have a court Hearing via phone on the 9th April ,( Me v Cabot )
Ive been on a forum and followed everything as I was told to do , Someone else had a court case with the same company and lost , who also got the advice from the same forum I did ... she told me the advice given was bad advice and now I’m Panicking !
Im Vulnerable , under a counsellor and a Psychiatrist due to depression and also losing my mum recently which has toppled me over and opened all I’ve been through in my life that I bottle up including losing my son .
I classed as disabled through many illnesses and now with this looming over me , well let’s just say I’m not doing very well .
so now I have a court case , defence filed etc , only to be told the advice was bad ..... Please what do I do , does anyone on here know what I can do ?

So sorry to hear of your personal problems. I know everyone will wish you well. It may have been sound advice but the person had a poor case.

I would suggest you start from scratch & tell us all about it - there is no need to mention any of what you were told previously as it would be better to see what folks on here think. I am sure you will find a big difference.

problem being my court hearing is coming up , all defence is filed with the courts ......
I had a CCJ put on my file , and never received any letters due to no longer living at the address it was sent to .
I was told to have it put aside , which I applied for and on the grounds was granted .
I just followed their steps , as I was told for a claimant to go to court will do a lot of damage to their business .... and it would be thrown out and would go as far as a court hearing , I believed them and went ahead .......
It has now gone to court ...
My hearing is soon via Phone on BT Meet me .

And now I know longer know how to fight it or what to say ......
My head isn’t mentally in it , due to meds I’m on .....

Im really sorry to bother you all with this .... it’s a mess I have no partner to help or support me either .

I don’t understand much of the link you posted , I am under a mental health doctor and with meds I do find it hard to understand ...

As others have said, without the full story there's not much we can say.
Could you at least post up your defence and witness statement?
Might be able to salvage it, but when is the hearing?
