  • HELP with CCJ Removal

    Hi there,
I am really hoping for some swift advice... my husband and I are applying for a property this weekend so I thought I would check my credit report and to my horror, there is a CCJ on there dated December 2020 for just over £500...
The first thing I did was call the CC who said it was from 'Lowell' who brought the debt from 'Very'...
I don't even recall having a Very account - I did have many credit accounts years ago (about 10 years ago) and now have none... I would have just paid it if I owe it or tbh even if I had received a letter! The order apparently was sent out to my parent's house but they pass on my post and I definitely didn't get anything... I would have sorted it straight away!
Any advice on what to do? Should I look at a legal company that can negotiate it be removed if I just pay it off? Has anyone had any success with one? Or doing it yourself?
Time is of the essence so I am prepared to pay for fast help...
    Thank you!
