    Hi,

Just wondering my rights regarding a return. Took me ages to get a PS5 for my stepson. I managed to get through the queues and quickly buy a bundle before getting kicked out of site however I now disagree with 2 of the items that I wish to return. Game are saying it is against their policy to take part returns despite me having a price breakdown of what they've sent me.

I can send proof it was a legitimate purchase etc.. console is upstairs in lads room the other items are unopened and unused. If I want to return it they are stating I have to return the PS5 also but as it's opened and used with box gone I know I will be subject to a price devaluation if I do return them all. I also then have to go through rigamarole of taking it off him and trying to get him a replacement console.

If you're familiar with how they work atm, you can't preview the product details they're obfuscated and if you go through to items you get redirected instantly to a splash page. Even if you go through the order screen. There whole process is not transparent at all, they're not being helpful at all and taking ages to respond to my requests.

Am I entitled to part return? If I just send the items back to them are they legally obliged to accept them? If I return all items am I liable for valuation loss? If they return the items to me, can I refuse to accept order? And can they charge me for this?

Their policy that has since been provided states they will deduce any amounts from products where not all components are missing but also states items should be returned when bought as a package

    Please help.

Why do you wish to return? You say you "disagree" with them. Are they faulty? You bought the bundle I would think you have to return the bundle but am not an expert - hopefully some will be along soon!

Hi islandgirl between ordering console and waiting for the bundle (about a month) the game was advertised at 1/4 the price on eBay so I got it. The camera I thought was for VR capability but it's nothing to do with VR and only supports streaming.

my reasons make a difference? Since I stated unopened and unused I have no real way of telling if faulty.

Distance selling regs give you 14 days to return an unwanted item, at your cost

ostell the issue isn't returning the items, it's, I've bought a bundle for stepson, all the information regarding returns and product descriptions etc.. are obfuscated and my son has opened the box and played the console. By time they've got back to me about returns to highlight their policy on these bundles the box isn't to be seen. Now I can return the bundle but without box I'd likely be heavily penalised for loss of components aka the box. They have also provided me a breakdown on product pricing allocation so I've asked for those amounts in returns but they won't so them without the console and if I send the console I will be penalised. They also state any missing components will be subject to relevant deductions however they've since sent me an email saying any bundles sent back without console will be returned to the buyer.

If I send it off and they return and I refuse to accept delivery etc.. I just need to know rights. I'm tempted to do that and go through PayPal / Visa if they refuse to refund.

If you purchased a package you have to return the entire package and that’s only if part of the package is faulty, not because you disagree with it or have changed your mind.

I think you agreed to the terms and conditions when you purchased. The fact that a game in the bundle was cheaper after Christmas is annoying but a very common thing! You do say this "Their policy...states items should be returned when bought as a package" . That is the term upon which you purchased the bundle. In my view they are entitled to say return everything or nothing. I would put it down to experience and sell the unopened game and camera and buy what you need. .
