  • !!!HELP Please!!! - SetAside hearing completed - completely lost in process

    Hello all,
I had my set aside hearing complete yesterday 22nd feb 2021 - (I am not sure if I am dreaming) I remember The Judge did say he is setting it aside but ordered/asked me to pay half of the monies from the claim into the CFO.
and file a defence in 2 weeks time by 4pm.

I haven't received any Court Order etc., and CFO needs sealed Court order for me to make any payment.
I don't have the original claim notice or judgement that was supposedly served to me as the tenant in the property dint accept it so I was unaware of the claim till very late.

    1) I did call and emailed the enquiries and I am told that the SetAside judgement is not filed/recorded yet (as of 23/02/2021 - I know its only a day) - Any idea how long will it take to get it recorded?
    2) When and how can I get my credit file updated to remove the CCJ? - is it after the defence is completed or with just this setAside?
    3) Is it easier to just pay off the total claim and then get some consent sort of thing with claimant to clear the case? - in doing so will the CCJ be left on my file?
    4) It has caused lot of distress over the past year and happy to do anything to clear it of my file - it costed way way more for just having it on my file and I wasn't even aware of the claim until after 3months it was on my file.

Please help/advice how to proceed with this defence with none of the above to hand.

Now my employer (BANK) want to terminate my employment if I don't clear it in the next one month.

    Please Please advice
