Dear all,
I applied for a role at an executive non departmental public body of the government. I got through to second round of interviews in December but didn't get the role. Moving forwards to now a fellow candidate asked for a subject data request on their application. They were entitled to redacted copies of forms etc, however they were also sent by mistake my application in full non redacted. The organisation have reported the breach to the ICO and have contacted me to let me know what has happened. However, in my application there was some very sensitive information relating to my past medical history. Clearly this is quite distressing and I now wish to take it further with a compensation claim. Has anyone experience of this please?
Many thanks,
Matt
