  • Property dispute - Relationship breakdown

My partner and i have been together 20 years, we split 12 years ago and i moved out, i signed over the house and equity to her. Within 18 months we’re back together, she had moved with my Daughter. We have another Daughter a few years later. She’s always rejected the idea of including me back on the house. She works locally in a shop and i have a job as a Marketing Director. I pay a lot of money into her account every month to the point where she has savings and i have debts. She has now decided that she doesn’t love me anymore and wants me out of her house. She gets angry at the audacity of me saying that i have an interest here. Her security is in property whereas i have a career.
    Where do i stand?
As you can probably guess I have always folded and gave her everything she wants. I don’t want my Daughters and her having to sell up. I don’t know what to do.

I think you do. I empathise with your relationship. Looking back at one I was in I should have walked earlier than the finish. It is a case of self respect. You've given everything and she still wants to evict you.hi
In my view you need to engage a solicitor and safeguard yourself, including access to your daughters.
It is a decision that is yours. Take time to reflect and perhaps discuss with someone you trust.
