  • CCJ removal advice

Hi, I have seen quite few posts where you guys helped people to remove their ccj from their credit file. I hope I can remove as well with your help

I have found the CCJ last year when I created an Experian account. I wasn’t aware before the moment I found out I tried to pay the amount in monthly instalments and after few months I paid that in full on 18/02/2020. I also have letter of satisfaction from Lowell solicitors. The reason why I have missed the payments because I had no job at the time and I was student with loads of stress alongside. I tried my best to pay whenever I get the saving or money from my family but I didn’t know they will send this to court nor I get notified of this. If I knew I would ask my family member for help to pay this off

The reason why I didn’t find the ccj was because I hadn’t received any letter from court. I live in full house of people and I was full time student, usually spent most of my time in university studying and preparing for my exams.

in short I just want advice to remove this from my file if you can help me I would be really appreciate. I tried to contact the solicitors as well but they are charging way to much with out 100% of assurance.

I believe you can apply to Lowell for the name of the Court, request the reference number, then apply for judgement set aside as payment paid in full to be satisfied by a Judge, sure there is a charge for this, but only from memory, I guess somebody will guide you through if I have got it wrong. Good luck.
