Hi
after abit of advice please Had a store card with Sainsbury's bank defaulted on it some 12 plus years ago had no contact or payment in all that time
Just before Xmas had letter off Resolvecall acting on behalf of arrow
Trying to reconnect use for me to pay the balance on account of £697.70
Fast forward to today Resolvecall just posted card through my door
What would be my best course of action
it is statues barred but don't remember if I ever had a default notice

If you have made no payments or written admission of the debt for 12 years it is well Statute Barred. A creditor's failure to issue a default notice doesn't change this and. A SB letter followed-up with letter telling them to stop harrassing you (Limitations Act) would, in my opinion, do the trick.

Debt is 12 yes plus statue barred
No payments No letters
Until a letter before Xmas off Resolvecall saying Arrow had tried numerous times to contact me so they were going to call Which they did
Will look on here for the templates you have suggested thank you very much
