Hi. Posting on here as I could see there had been previous posts on CSPM parking and the way it operates. Hopefully someone will be kind enough to help.
I received a parking charge for use of the Queenswood country park site outside Hereford. I had purchased a parking ticket but by mistake put in the wrong registration number. I wrote to CSPM explaining what had happened and showed proof of the ticket. It replied that it was unable to cancel the parking charge of £60 ( £100 if don’t pay early) but would reduce the charge to £20 as “an administrative fee”.
I can appeal through POPLA but if I lose the appeal I will have to pay the full charge - £100. I have no experience of POPLA. Therefore, grateful for any advice as to whether I’m likely to succeed in an appeal. Thanks.
