    Hi there,
my father passed away 3,5 years ago, I’ve just found out his wife has passed away last week (not my mum) I don’t know if there is a will or not, but my question is, does her son inherit everything or would I be entitled to something. Thank you

    Depends!

Did your father leave a will or die intestate?
Did he own his own house?
If so was it registered solely in his name or in joint names with his wife?
If the latter were they joint tenants or tenants in common?
What was the value of his estate?

If your step mother has left a will, you may inherit under that, otherwise no EXCEPT, depending on circumstances you may be able to make a claim under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and dependants) Act 1975
