Hi everyone,
Apologies, I posted this in the wrong forum a few days ago!

But they TLDR is that a mobile network provider applied early termination fees (+2 weeks) and subsequent default (+6 weeks) to my credit file, AFTER they were aware the "account had been closed" and "the service disconnected". This was confirmed by them to the ombudsman.
I've complained to the ombudsman for what it was worth, and they "found no fault with this action" ,it seems they feel a 'but it wasn't our fault' from the network is sufficient.
We are going to suffer losses in excess of £5k as we are forced to rent temporarily.
Should I bother with the ombudsman further or just litigate? I'm assuming the threshold is extremely high in order to prove losses, but with an [potential] admission of error?
I need to respond to the ombudsman by the latter part of next week.
Many thanks......
