Hi,
Today I received a £100 parking charge from a private parking firm stating that I had not paid the full amount due to park. I definitely paid the amount, this being for two hours parking and stayed for 64 mins. I however have no proof of payment and only have my two children as witnesses.
I have checked various review companies, many of which have many poor reviews in respect of the parking firm and other visitors making payment and still being issued with fines.
The car park is private and the local authority are in dispute with the land owner as he did not apply for the correct planning application. Do you think I have a chance of contesting this fine?
