    Can anyone help ....ive set up my direct debit 3 times with hinckley Council to pay my council tax which I've payed in my current house for 10 years now and never missed any payments ...I received a letter saying I must attend court for none payment .....they are not taking my money for the bill despite me setting up direct debits now 3 times I've called them countless times and sent emails with no response but a court letter ...ive done nothing wrong and ive always payed my bills I feel emotionally distressed worried and have had sleepless nights since ....

    Set up a standing order so you send them the money. of get the slips and pay them at the bank. Pay the missed installments
    and then keep on paying. Check that you have the correct receiving account details it will be on your council tax demand.
