Hi all,
Today a driver received a letter regarding an outstanding parking fine from a company called London Parking Solutions stating that they were parked on 18/12/2020 and have not yet paid the fine, which has now been increased to £100 from £60.
Firstly, nobody approached the driver and put a ticket on the car, which they were actually sitting in at the time and secondly, the 14 days doesn't expire until January 1st.
Is this company within their rights to up the cost before the 14 days is up and are they within their rights to falsely state that the fine remains unpaid even though this is the first the driver has heard of this.
Regards
Mark
