Insurance levels for sub contractors

I run a consultancy business. We subcontract a lot of people into our end clients. We have indemnity and other insurances in place with our end client. My question is, do our subcontractors insurance levels need to reflect the ones we have with our end clients?

It is common for subcontracting arrangements to include in the contract a provision around insurance, usually the types of insurance to be maintained for the duration of the agreement and the minimum amount. Unless the contract specifies insurance and the minimum amounts then you won't be obliged.
