I've received a letter from Hoist Finance stating that I have overpaid a Barclaycard debt and they would like to send me a refund. There is a telephone number that I have to phone them with my bank card details. What do you think. ?

Hmm sounds like a scam, a normal way to fool you into giving your account details.
