Hi,
I wonder if it might be possible to pick your collective brains?
In a nutshell, my partner is being made redundant (whilst on maternity leave) and as part of that process she has been informed, in confidence by a concerned colleague, about the fixing of an interview panel. She then reported this on to senior management for investigation but all they have done is to come back giving her a deadline to provide the name of the person that gave her the info, without denying that her report is accurate. She is now concerned that if she refuses to disclose who passed the info to her that she may be disciplined. My question is: can the company compel her to reveal the name of the person who passed her this information or take action against her should she refuse?
Chris
