Served with court papers by sheriffs officers. The papers are Simple Procedure.
The claim is regarding a credit card from on or about the 1st november 2000.
The debt was being paid by Compass debt counsellors from 2007 until December 2015 when compass closed. I have no
paperwork of my own as all correspondence re my creditors was forwarded to compass at their request. The sum is for approx £3000.
No payment was made to any creditors after compass closed down and no one sent any demands much to my surprise and relief.
Until now that is. I am unsure how to deal with this and any help will be welcomed.
