  • Hoist finance County court letter

    Good Morning,

Today I received 2 county court forms from hoist finance uk holdings. After the initial shock I realised what this was about. These claims relate to an overdraft and credit card i had with Lloyds back in 2016.
So obviously I don't want this effect my credit score and leave me with 6 years of pain. So I'm wondering the best way to approach this as i don't have the funds to cover the amount and i never stopped paying these agreements.

Back in 2016 the bank suddenly closed my account, credit card, overdraft due to been an (undesirable client) they never sent me any letters or requested any payments i of course wasn't going to remind them that i owed them £4500 any time soon.

So do i even have a defence?

why is it hoist finance taking me to court? (howard cohen)

Could i negotiate a better price?

thanks in advance for any advice.
