  • CCJ issued to old address - Have I acted too swiftly in settling ?

Hi all - sorry got my postings in a twist and have already posted details of my issue to the "Received a Court Claim?" forum.

Basically relates to a CCJ that wasn't received as issued to a former address that had been vacated as a result of ongoing domestic abuse which meant I deliberately left as little trail as possible to new address - but had accidentally failed to advise lender of new address due to the stress and state of my mental health.

Have immediately cleared balance but now wonder if this will make it harder to have the CCJ set aside with an N244 (its presence even if satisfied could have detrimental effect on my career due to the sector I'm employed in) have approached the debt management company for a consent letter and awaiting their response.

All help and advice gratefully received - posting is already in the Received a Court Claim? Forum
