  • Car accident works with unsatisfactory repair

    Hi all,

Brief story short, my partner had a car accident earlier this year. The car was close to a write off but the garage it went to did the work. They later admitted that there was more work than they quoted for and would personally take the hit. The work however is average. The bonnet and panels are noticeably out of whack, and there are a heap of electronic issues that seem to be getting worse. The car is only a few years old and what we have back is not the car we had pre accident. My question is this, do we have a case to take any action as at present the garage that did the work says there's nothing wrong with the car - there is, and VW have apparently signed of the vehicle as ok.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this whole disco is getting a bit tiresome and stressful.
