  • MET Parking at McDonalds

    Hi All.

I've have a Parking penalty from MET Parking for leaving the Car Park after purchasing food from McDonalds in Southall. I asked the staff if it was okay to pop into a shop near by as I had made a purchase and the answer was: That will be fine (or okay). So I was very surprised when I received the notice for payment of - £100 or £50 if paid within 14 days. I did appeal, but that was rejected. So - I don't know how legal this demand is? Should I pay? Please help.

So edit so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, use "the driver....." etc. The driver parked, the keeper received the notice.

Post up the notice, suitably redacted but leave dates.

It's not a penalty, it's an invoice for an alleged breach of contract
