    Hello would appreciate your help

I am planning on VTing my car as i now work from home. I have £400 left to pay to get to 50% which i can pay end of month. however MOT expires 20 oct. is it possible to write a letter to VT and for them to pick up car before 20th and then pay of rest then. Also does car need to have MOT for VT to be valid

    Appreciate your answers in advance.

Doubt if they will be able to pick up by the 20th in the current circumstances. VT is valid when they receive your letter, template in Shortcuts on the right.

thank you for your response . is it advisable to get MOT before they pick it up or it really doesn't matter as document says car has to be in reasonable condition no mention of MOT in place
