  • Cabot Theats Help?

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me, I have been paying Cabot £1 a month and also other collectors, but Cabot is now saying that there software indicates that I can afford to pay more (which I cant)
They are saying I must contact them now or they will get a court order for a CCJ against me.

I'm not very good at dealing with these people they just talk rings around me.
I don't know my rights if I have any, I don't know what to expect from them?

If anyone can advise me please, I'm feeling stressed and panicked again with these people. Thanks.

just a threatogram cabot needs they cannot get CCJ just like that there is a procedure which they know and try to frighten you into submission, they have to 100% prove a case and their track record leaves a lot to be desired. so give as much information as to what it is all about! no need to panic they have a n way to go, and then if they loose they loose as usual and the idiots statement saying you can pay more is nonsense they have no idea, theses threatograms are numbers 1/2/3/etc in different drawers

Hi Thanks for your reply, The debt is for a credit card (£4000), I must admit I have not answered any of there letters or phone calls as I hate talking to them,

I was also under the illusion that if I stuck to the payment plan (which I have) there wasn't much that they could do????? So the threat of court action took me off guard.

I thought it was strange that they were basically saying that THEY NEW my financial position had got better also stating how much they want me to pay (just short of £20)
How on earth could they know about my financial position either way, but it was enough to make me feel paranoid even though they are wrong.

Any advise on what my next move should be? Would be much appreciated..
