Can someone give advice about a solicitor retainer/ fake invoice from a solicitor.

In short I have a retainer that was fulfilled which i paid for which stated it includes VAT but the invoice shows 0 vat but includes the vat registration number. All I have is an amount with no breakdown of costs which makes me feel like something is wrong and I don't trust the solicitor. Thanks
