No expenses/money at all from rta after 7 months - liability adminteed

I had a major accident on my bicycle on 6th Februa, A car drove over me while I was stationary at a junction and left me with an open leg fracture.
Had 4 major operations and spent two weeks ib hospital.
Liability was admiteed on 9th June.
In almost 7 months since start of claim I have received nothing and am near the end of my resources.
The other side are asking to see a medical reoport from a whatsapp interview which took place on 6th August. The report has no been finalised yet.
Is it usual to ask to see the report before payment of fully itemised expenses? Is it usual for a report to take this long?
What else might the ask for to delay any payment at all, and how can I speed things up?
