  • Robinson Way chasing a ccj

    Hi
looking for some advice please on what to do
i have an old barclaycard debt ( following a stressful separation/divorce). Moved a fair bit and although not forgotten; I have never recovered financially to take control of it.
Now; 5 yrs on; Robinson Way have sent a letter.
ive never needed to check my credit record as not applied for anything but I went on and it seems a ccj was taken out for the debt in June 2016. I’ve nothing related it as I moved a lot then.

i don’t know what to do. Financially I don’t own anything; currently not working due to COVID. What can I say or do as I don’t have the means to pay at the moment.
i know I have a debt but don’t really want the additional stress of being continually chased when I already struggle financially to get by.

can anyone suggest how I move forward please.

Thanks. I’m not sure asking to set aside the ccj is the right way.

i know the debt is mine and a ccj was issued apparently in June 2016 . I’ve just been on to Experian website and checked my credit history to discover the ccj( I wasn’t aware because of various address moves).

i don’t know where I stand in terms of Robinson way now contacting me to pay the credit card debt

Hi - With a CCJ in place, Robinson Way could explore a few methods of enforcing this debt, but basically have not done so because they don't know where you are. There is not much they can do if you don't own your own home. How much is the debt roughly? When did you default and what year did the account start?

How long have you known about the CCJ? It won't ever expire, but equally it may not ever come to much enforcement wise (depending on amount). It could be a problem in future if you buy a home. The CCJ will fall of your credit file in 2022, so will not impact credit worthiness after that.

You cant send a CCA request really as the debt has been terminated via the judgment.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
