Sail Foot Drop

Not sure where I stand, in Sept 2017 I requested from our sailing club secretary an up to date sail plan for my class of yacht which arrived via email stating that this may not be the latest plan and would get back to me. A few days later I received another email showing the latest sail plan and was instructed to disregard the previous sail plan. Last June I placed an order with our sailing clubs recognised listed sailmaker along with a copy of the latest sail plan. Unfortunately, the sail plan supplied wasn't the latest as one of the main dimensions was omitted resulting in the sail being disadvantaged when racing.
Do I have any form of redress from the club as the sailmaker says it is cheaper to have a new sail made at a cost £900.

So the sail maker should know the dimension that was missed. The dimension was missed and not incorrect so the sail maker must have substituted another dimension

If it was a recognised class then the details must be known elsewhere

A sailmaker would not guess a dimension - what measurement was omitted?
