  • DMP with many creditors

Over the last 26 months I have been paying into a DMP for various payday loans and credit card debts.
i still have an amount outstanding of 5k and some if not most of my debts are now being paid into debt recovery companies.

i really just want to make an offer/ reduce this debt somehow as I feel this is a massive ball and chain at the moment.
im looking at going down the CCA route, in order to see if these companies can come up with the paperwork within 12 days, and if not offer A reduced amount.

I would appreciate any advice you may have for me in this matter.

Firstly, submit CCA requests to all of your creditors. There is a link to a letter template on the right hand side under shortcuts. If the creditors cannot produce a CCA for the debts, they become unenforceable and you can defend any money claim on those grounds. If the CCA isn't produced, stop paying them, don't make any offers of repayment.
