Hey there,
okay so I have a child arrangements order with my ex for my 2 year old daughter whereby I am her resident parent and she sees her father every other week for 2 days and 2 nights. We have a travel arrangement in place that says we meet at a half way point for drop off and pick up.
however on occasion, as I have family local to him I have said he can pick up our daughter and drop her off at a location just 10
minutes from his home. I have in writing him agreeing to this and he is now going back on it and refusing to do so. This means me travelling from an area local to him, out of area, for my daughter to only be bought back to the same area?! The option I have offered saves him over an hour and a half of his time over the 2 days in travel and not to mention the cost of fuel and wear and tear on his car. I don’t see why my right to a family life should be stopped and why I should have to travel out of area from where he lives as he is insisting on the meet up point?!
can I insist on him picking her up from my sisters and break the order?
