  • Voluntart Termination PCP - Pro-rata mileage

    Hi there

I didn't go over my mileage allowance, I hit it bang on, but at the point of VT, which was 3 months early.

Daimler Finance are trying to charge me £304 for 'pro-rata' mileage. I've read the advice and I understand that they can't enforce it and will not take me to court. I have been contesting / ignoring them, but they've now passed it on to DLC debt collection agency, and I am concerned.

I've looked at the VT letter I signed and it does state that I would be liable for any pro-rata mileage. Does this change the initial advice of 'ignore they wont take you to court'?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cheers
    John

If you agreed to pay and signed a contract to that effect then you can be held liable. This is why the advice is to not sign anything the company provide as they sneak things in that a detrimental to you.

Thanks for the advice... it’s what I thought tbh. My own fault!! Guess I’ll have to pay.
