Hi Everyone!
I really need help as I couldn't find much information online.
We are selling an inherited property abroad (within the EU) and we have two minors as beneficiaries. As we live in the UK, the local notary of where the property is located requires an "extra" permission from a UK Court allowing the legal guardian to sell the property also on the minors' behalf.
I believe we require a vesting order from the court under the S53 Trustee Act 1935 but we aren't sure how to receive one and whether this could be done on on our own. I am also wondering how long this process will take as my family is stuck in the middle of a sale.
