  • High Court Writ -advice pls

Hello, My dad received a High Court Writ of control via the High Court Enforcement Group.......he never receive any letter before. How do i found out more information on this High Court Writ.

To summarise, he owned a shop which the landlord took back, his intention is to change it to a 3 bedroom house. saw the planning permission on line, They gave him a list of wear and repairs of 77k. he had the shop for 30 years plus.

He originally took a CCJ on my dad but it was dismissed by the court but now we suddenly get a High Court Enforcement Group letter claiming for 100k!!!! we never had any other letter from the court after the 1st discharge letter,

It is making me stressed, am i allowed to contact the landlord and ask him to withdraw High Court Writ of Control or is this too late? I want to settle this with a smaller amount and see if they are willing just to have peace in my life. Its making me ill.

My dad say to ignore it - if he does, will he go prison?

I am hoping this High Court Enforcement Group might be a fake one but doubt it.

i am too scared to contact High Court Enforcement Group in case they ask me to pay......

my dad is like 75 plus and am worried once they turn up, he get heart attack...

    any advice is appreciated

    thanks
