  • Confused newbie says Hi!

    Hello all!

I've just joined up today after hearing about yet another stay issued in the seemingly endless bank charges saga and after looking into it found this excellent site!

My case is on hold and I'm thinking about applying for financial hardship. My case has been on hold since 28th Aug, I'm a full time student, (sadly) unemployed and money is definitely hard to come by!

I just need a little guidance and some sanity. PLEASE!

I'll fill out an income expenditure sheet and scan any/all documents I have, but it's 2am and I have to be up early! So I'll just say Hi again!

    Hi!

Well first of all, welcome to Beagles Snook.
I will also say, going the hardship route is by no means easy. We have a forum for these claims here is a link http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...play.php?f=106 If you have a good read of the info on there it will give you some idea of what happens. Even so, it seems the banks all have different ideas on hardship.
If you decide not to go this way and are in need of any help with any other debts or charges reclaiming then give a shout.

      Hi Snook

To qualify for Hardship, firstly you must ensure that you fall withing the current waiver rules for hardship as laid down by the FSA. You will find this in the hardship section.

You will also need to complete an income and expenses sheet,

You will also need to gather all your evidences, ie Mortgage/Rent arrears, utilitiy arrears etc....

When you have done this we can take it to the next stage.
