  • MINI Finance Voluntary Termination

    Hey everyone,

Currently in the process of VT with Mini Finance. Been waiting over a month for the car to be inspected / collected (is this normal) still have the car on the drive but received a letter from Mini saying the account is in arrears. Is this normal also?

Expecting to have to argue over charges too after it has been inspected despite the car being in great condition and we'll under the millage.

    Thanks

I don't know, each finance company will have their own processes and the usual (poor) excuse is that these things are all automated and not to worry.

Why don't you give them a call and find out.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

R0b thank you for your reply.

The car has been taken now andaand that a charge of £120 will be due for a dent in the door which tbh I'm not worried about.

It was just a shock to receive an arrears letter when as far as I was concerned at that point nothing was owed. The direct debit was still live and they had taken a monthly payment after the VT had been agreed with them.

I just didn't want anything flagging credit score wise for something that is an official process and within my legal rights.
