  • CcJ over 8 years old

Hi thank you for having me here
I been contacted by a company for a debt taken out in 2005
I think it was a credit card from Nat West going by letter . I left the uk in 2007 for 3 years due to divorce and lost my house to the ex. I came back to uk 2010 started a new life then in 2013 I received letters from different debt firms. Being as all these debts were 6 years old I sent the letters stating they were SB . I checked my credit rating and noticed a ccJ Dated 2012 from a company in the Channel Islands. This is the company that as now written to me I think cant be 100% it was 7 years ago. 8 years since issued . Since coming back I been registered with hmrc driving license in home address had credit with different insurance companies bank account so not been hiding just wondering why it’s took 8 years to contact me . I know ccJ last 6 years and this one now is over 8 years but they can apply for court to reinstate just wanted some advice on best plan of action . I have followed many similar posts on here but never seen Final outcome . The letter doesn’t state a ccJ but I am sure this is the one

I have spoken via telephone lady was quite rude and pushy. I stated that I have never been contacted in nearly 9 years I asked for copy of ccJ and was given a phone number and reference number of hearing at Northampton court I also asked why they had no history on case said it was only passed to them in oct 2019 from global arrow which in fact owns drysden seems strange that they took so long I stated it was nearly 9 years she also told me a charged had been put on a house whinch she couldn’t give me address off ? I’m trying to find out from ex if any such charge was on our married house when she sold it court had awarded her house in my absents but I was still on loan for house I had to sign paperwork when she sold house not sure where to go now
try and set up payment with them or wait for a bit see what they come back with as they are aware I know they can’t in force debt as it stands and would have to go to court to reapply
again not really sure of my best options ?

Wow that is really, really old! OK, so CCJ's do not go time barred but Arrow would need to go to court to enforce it. Can you get further information regarding a charge on the property? Tagging pt2537 to see what he recommends in terms of such an old CCJ being resurrected.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Hi the charge was made as far as I know on old married property
I can remember my ex talking about it but saying she got it removed as court had awarded her the house and I no longer had a interest in said house the house has since been sold in 2016/2017 and in a recent telephone call to her there was only one charge on property for divorce costs .

Hmmm, tricky one this, the Judgment could well be enforced, especially if it was secured by a charge. Id really need to know a lot more about the history of this case before i could really say what the options are
