  • Success with Highview parking fine for Watford Waterfields!

Always appeal!!!!!! Got an 85 fine, 50 if paid within 14 days... I appealed asap with following thanks to another thread on this site and the fine was successfully cancelled - they are not within their rights to do this and I also made a point of telling them how appalling it is they are doing this in current times when many others are waiving these sorts if things as people are all suffering financial stress. Any way my appeal below FYI:
I have just received your Notice XXXXXXXXX to Keeper for vehicle XXXXXXX......... I find it appalling that your company is issuing these fines as such difficult times, when many companies are opting to waive such penalites for minor infractions, due to times of significant financial stress. It is very disheartening. It is brought to my attention that you have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of The Protection Of Freedoms Act 2012 namely, but not limited to, failing to give notice of keeper liability as prescribed by section 9 (2) (f) of the Act. You therefore cannot transfer liability for the alleged charge from the driver at the time to me, the keeper. There is no legal requirement to name the driver at the time and I will not be doing so. I do not expect to hear from you again, or your debt collectors, unless to confirm that no further action will be taken. I ask that my personal details are removed from your records in line with GDPR laws. Regards XXXXXXXX
