  • Small Claim Track N180 form

    Thank you for entering

I did start a small claim with moneyclaim.gov.uk
Now the matter has been transferred to the local county court I have already sent the N180 form along with a response pack, to the county court. The defendant did reply to my claim with a counterclaim.
On the “Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claim Track” is asking to serve a copy of the N180 form on all other parties.
Do I really need to send a copy of the N180 to the defendant? What the defendant is going to do with it? Why I need to do this?
    Thank you in advance

You need to do all that is asked of you. failure to do so may result in you losing. It doesn't matter what the defendant is going to do with it, the court have asked you to send a copy.

I agree. The rules require you to serve a copy on the other side, it doesnt matter if they insert it in their rear, what matters is you comply with the rules .
