  • Cabot Financial refusing letters.

    Hi there,

I have a debt which was bought by CF back in January of this year. As the date of default was back in 2009 I think it unlikely they will have the necessary documents to make it enforceable.

I wrote to them 6 weeks ago asking for various docs that legally they should have and be able to provide. The letter was sent signed for post , addressed to their Head of Opperations and I have the RM proof of receipt.

To date I have not received a reply, not particularly surprising I know, however I then sent a follow up letter to their CEO, enclosing a copy of the first letter and requesting a response within 28 days. This was also sent signed for, however the RM tracking says they were 'unable to deliver as person no longer at this address'.

I'm pretty sure he is at this address so I then sent the same letter to the Opperations Head who received the first letter. Again the RM tracking says person no longer at this address.

Of course there could be a genuine explanation, but it looks as if they're refusing my mail. Does anyone have any experience of this kind of tactic from CF and if so what would you advise?

    Many thanks.

    It could have been refused.
